1.2 Soundbadge Is Not a Music Rights Platform
Participation in a Soundbadge campaign does not give users ownership or intellectual property rights over the artist's songs, lyrics, recordings, artwork, or other protected materials.
Soundbadge provides a platform for fan participation, recognition, and rewards.
2. Eligibility and Age Requirements
2.1 Minimum Age
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age permitted by applicable law, to register for and use the Platform.
Specific campaigns or reward categories may impose additional age restrictions.
2.2 Users Under 18
Users under 18 may be required to obtain parental or legal guardian consent where applicable. Certain features, including monetary rewards, may be subject to additional age and verification requirements.
Soundbadge may restrict participation in specific campaigns where required by law or where a particular reward or payment structure makes such restrictions necessary.

You must not provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information for the purpose of obtaining access, improving your ranking, or claiming a reward.

- Has violated these Terms.
- Has engaged in fraud, cheating, or abusive behavior.
- Has manipulated campaign results.
- Has provided false identity or payout information.

You must not sell, transfer, lend, or share your account for the purpose of manipulating campaign results or obtaining unauthorized rewards.
3.3 One Person, One Account
Unless Soundbadge expressly permits otherwise, each individual may maintain only one personal account for campaign participation and rewards.
We may use verification and fraud-prevention measures to detect duplicate accounts, coordinated manipulation, and attempts to circumvent campaign restrictions.

You may request account deletion through the Platform or by contacting us through the Contact page on our website.
Account deletion may affect access to:
- Campaign participation records.

Any consequences for pending rewards will be communicated in the applicable campaign rules and handled subject to applicable law.

- Campaign start and end dates.
- Eligible participants.
- Paid and ad-supported entry options.
- Entry fees, where applicable.
- Required advertisement views, where applicable.
- Number of permitted entries.
- Scoring and ranking methodology.
- Tie-breaking procedures.
- Badge eligibility.
- Reward types and fulfillment conditions.
Campaign rules will form part of the applicable terms for participation in that campaign.
4.3 Campaign Changes and Cancellation
Subject to applicable law and any specific commitments made to participants, Soundbadge may modify, suspend, or cancel a campaign where reasonably necessary, including because of:
- Technical failures.
- Security concerns.
- Unavailability of licensed content.
- Artist withdrawal.
- Suspected manipulation.
- Legal or regulatory requirements.
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where a change materially affects participation, scoring, or committed rewards, we will provide appropriate notice and apply any required remedies.
5. Entry Methods: Paid and Ad-Supported Participation
5.1 Available Entry Routes
Eligible campaigns may offer one or both of the following entry methods:
Paid Entry: A user pays the stated campaign entry fee through an approved payment method, subject to the applicable campaign rules.
Ad-Supported Entry: A user completes the required advertisement-viewing activity specified by the campaign in order to qualify for entry without paying the stated monetary entry fee.
The available entry routes, eligibility requirements, and conditions will be disclosed before the user enters the applicable campaign.
5.2 Ad-Supported Entry
Where an ad-supported entry route is offered:
- The campaign will specify the number of advertisements a user must successfully complete or view.
- The Platform may require confirmation that the advertisement-viewing activity was validly completed.
- Advertisement availability may depend on geographic location, device, network, advertiser demand, or third-party service availability.
- Advertisements may be supplied by third-party advertising providers.
- A user must not manipulate, automate, fraudulently simulate, or interfere with advertisement views.
- Failed, interrupted, invalid, or unverified ad views may not qualify as completed entry requirements.
Watching advertisements does not guarantee that a user will win a reward or receive a particular leaderboard position.
5.3 Paid Entry
Where paid entry is offered:
- The applicable entry fee will be displayed before payment.
- The campaign rules will state the entry conditions and any applicable limits.
- Payment must be made through an approved payment channel.
- Users must not attempt to bypass the stated payment or entry process.
Paid entry does not guarantee a particular rank, reward, or monetary return.
5.4 Equal Application of Scoring Rules
Unless expressly stated in the campaign rules, paid and ad-supported entries will be evaluated according to the same published scoring criteria.
Any difference in entry limits, timing, reward eligibility, or other conditions must be clearly disclosed before participation.
5.5 Advertising and Third-Party Providers
Soundbadge may use third-party advertising services to provide advertisements for ad-supported entry.
Soundbadge does not guarantee the availability, content, or uninterrupted operation of third-party advertisements. We may modify the advertising provider or entry requirements where reasonably necessary, subject to the applicable campaign terms and legal requirements.
6. Points, Accuracy, Entry Speed, and Leaderboards
6.1 Points and Scoring
Points may be awarded based on the user's performance in the applicable campaign.
Soundbadge's ranking system may consider:
- Accuracy of lyric guesses.
- Entry speed or time taken to submit an answer.
- Other clearly disclosed campaign-specific scoring factors.
The precise weighting, timing rules, and scoring methodology will be specified in the relevant campaign rules.
6.2 Accuracy
Accuracy refers to how closely or correctly a user's submitted answer matches the answer or scoring standard established for the campaign.
The campaign rules may define acceptable variations, partial answers, spelling requirements, and how ambiguous or disputed submissions are handled.
6.3 Entry Speed
Entry speed refers to the relevant time measure used by the campaign to determine how quickly an eligible answer or entry was submitted.
The campaign rules will specify the applicable timing reference, including any time limits, timestamp method, and how ties in timing are handled.
6.4 Leaderboard Rankings
Leaderboards may display the relative performance of participating users according to the applicable scoring system.
A leaderboard position displayed during a campaign is provisional unless the campaign rules state otherwise. Rankings may change as additional entries are submitted, corrections are made, or verification is completed.
6.5 Tie-Breaking
The applicable campaign rules will specify how ties are resolved. Tie-breaking may consider accuracy, entry time, the order of valid submissions, or another published criterion.
Soundbadge will not apply an undisclosed tie-breaking rule to determine a winner.
6.6 Scoring Corrections and Verification
Soundbadge may correct scoring errors, remove invalid entries, or recalculate rankings where reasonably necessary to preserve campaign integrity.
Corrections may be made following technical investigations, fraud reviews, or the discovery of an error in the scoring process.
7. Soundbadges and Digital Recognition
